@@ann-christinenilsson4046 john paul was the first person james ever loved and no matter what anyone says, he loved jp more than he loved harry (jarry was toxic). if it wasn’t for jp falling out of love with him and cheating, then they would’ve gotten married. james never stopped loving jp, despite being with harry, kyle and liam. which is why those feelings came rushing back when jp returned. i believe jp loves him back, and james will always be in love with him. but i really hope he falls for ste too, even if they don’t last in the long run. this is why it’s great to ship everyone lmao

their story started during covid so they weren't allowed to kiss - but now they're married and have kissed multiple times. but the fact that hollyoaks created this romance and got us all hooked without any physical interaction is impressive.
