Thanks for posting,I started in the Spedition business in Liverpool in 1972,and these vessels brought back so many memories, including visits to Hamburg. I recognised the Cardigan Bay,and Tokyo Bay ,as I worked for a period of time with the Overseas Container Line company (OCL).

Wow Michael, great video when ships were ships and to see an Australian registered ship "Australian Progress" of the once great Australian National Line in Hamburg as she was built there. Thankyou Michael for those older ships i really appreciated that video. Greetings from Tasmania.👍

Great and outstanding collection Michael, very much enjoyed and appreciated. I remember "Tina Onassis" at 3.29 when the tanker was painted white hull. An era with the emergence of the VLCC, OBO and container ships. At 11.43 wasn't the "World Discoverer" sunk in the Solomon Islands or Vanuatu and is still there on her side today? Great work, thank you Michael.😉

At 3 04 is one of the ships I crewed on in the 70,s Clan Ranald ,there were 4 in that class of ship
