10 years later... still wondering the same. Rock and metal lost the groove. It needs to ease up and dance again.

Same! The stupid cookie monster growling. The thousand hits a second double kick drums. The detuning when the strings flap. I hated the big hair, glam garbage but I miss the good hard rock/metal. Even Metallica had a singer.

Wow! I was 18 at this recording and beyond a Ratt head. Warren and Robyn’s guitars were screaming but I was there from the start and will say Robyn’s guitar work was the foundation for the Ratt sound we all loved. Nothing against Warren as he was one of the best at the time but Robyn’s work was Ratt as we seen here.
@tommcdonough6086 Жыл бұрын
Warren was like 18 or 19 and still developing into the legend guitar god he became, and within a short time became the alpha guitarist of the band., RATT really started rolling in 84 when I was 16 in highschool still one of my favorite bands of all time Warren is a guitar god absolute LEGEND, R.I.P. Robbin Crosby you are legendary as well...............

I saw RATT live a few times in yhe mid eighties. I played lead and rhythm guitar in a cover band. We would go watch these bands live to learn their songs. Great band that still guves you that fun feeling of the era. I still play ever day and really miss the camaraderie of yhe musicians of the day.

One thing a lot of vocalists/singers always did that always irked me a little, was how they'd pull the mic away before finishing a lyric or the entirety of a given word...Paul Stanley did that a lot in some of the early live footage, and all those years ago, when the mic was so much as a few inches from your mouth, bye-bye went the audio...lol....

In the early days, Crosby was more inventive than Warren, his lines were more unpredictable and his resolutions trickier and hitting a sweeter spot when they came through. Both were great players at a young age. However, WDM's single-mindedness of purpose proved to be the key to maintaining a upwards path as the years of stardom accumulated.

WARREN is a guitar god absolute LEGEND, became the alpha guitarist rather quickly, he was still developing as a guitarist and was like 18 or 19 when this was shot. There were two bad notes and I think they were both Warren. In these early days he was realllly green. He started playing when he was 15 so he couldnt have been more than 19 here. Within a few years he overtook Crosby but in these early days Crosby was THEE rock.
