If you wanna get as close to modern aventus batches as possible go with L'aventure Intense. Have a 2017 and 2023 batch of Aventus and they are virtually indistinguishable from L'aventure. Hamidi is also good but a lot smokier, it’s what I imagine older batches of Aventus might have smelled like.

Im digging the fragrance vs fragrance battles. 👍 L'aventure Intense performs very well and last way longer than L'aventure OG. It smells very nice. I get a "lemony" vibe smell instead of pineapple. I want to try Hamidi. I will see if i pull the trigger on it.

I bought Hamidi today my whole room is smelling beauuuuutiful, I had Armaf CDNIM for years but Hamidi initial spray is soooooo much soothing, CDNIM is slightly harsh but will apply tomorrow while going to Office and see how it performs. I received tons compliments on CDNIM even I have the limited version but I think regular CDNIM is better than limited edition. Even I used afnan supremacy but Hamidi is best and I loved it more than CDNIM and Afnan.

I’m not sure if it’s just my newer batch of L’Aventure Intense but I don’t get great performance on it. It’s 5-7 hours with moderate performance for an hour before going right to my skin. I got mine for £25 ($32) so it’s not a bad deal but I find the performance not to intense.

I think the newest version of L'aventure Intense is weak and watered down from older versions of L'aventure Intense! Other then Al Haramain L'aventure has more lemony / fruityer scent and better projection I can't tell the regular Al Haramain L'aventure and the Intense...I might get a hour longer wear from Intense. I have switched to Swiss Arabian Intense Pride!!!

@scarabeo500gt I'm not having good luck with Swiss Arabian Intense. It does not perform well at all. The longevity sucks. Maybe 5-6 tops. It does smells nice though. I just wish it lasted 12+ hours like Naz stated.

I tend to get 7-8 hours after letting it sit for a couple months and that makes me happy and love the scent. that to me makes it the best and worth carrying a pocket sprayer if I want longer.
