Hamilton Adventure on the Bayfield 25 with Jeff Pruce

Sailing trip to Hamilton from Oakville. Rafted up with two other boats. What started out as a nice evening turned into a windy and rough night. Had to un-raft and during the night found out that the anchor didn't hold. Everyone ran into problems. One boat didn't make it into Hamilton Bay due to an engine loss just before the lift bridge. The next day on the way back, two other boats lost their engines, and one hit the canal wall under the lift bridge and had to get towed to a marina. Winds were from the east and very strong making it almost impossible to head back to Oakville. So the Bayfield and the Challenger made it to the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club to spend another day and night. Found out later that a huge garbage bag was wrapped around the Bayfield's prop. Now we know why we couldn't make any headway. So all boats had an incident. What are the odds of that?
