There is absolutely no chance that 'Manic' Max would have "left space" for the legendary Sir 'LionHeart' Hamilton, if their positions were reversed. So it's not only "The Car" as far as Verstappen is concerned, but recognising that The Dark knight had calmly dished out a maestro's offering of elegant racecraft. The future on-track excitement does not auger well for 'The Demon Dutchman.'

Your bias is clouding your judgement. That is a racing incident. There was a gap, and Max had the pace. Went for the gap, but was not offered more space. A crash was inevitable. Hamilton lacked the pace, and went defensive. None of them can be blamed for the crash. It is the result of racing.

What we're really overlooking is the fact that max is ready to go extreme and dangerous to win or even gain positions, and also that he's absolutely a terrible person under pressure.

@@LibertyG0385 max was frustrated clearly all day. 1st lap on the outside first corner , HE never was going to make it and took position going off track then complaining he had to give it back. He complains all day then he got reckless and tried to dive bomb Lewis, max was never going to make that corner on the inside. He locked up big time. He is very emotional and entitled it seems.

It’s very clear in the overhead view. Hamilton clearly leaves more than enough room and actually turns away from the charging Verstappen who is simply carrying too much speed and cannot control the trajectory of his car.

I think that they both had to get around the slow car, but it seemed like Max was carrying way too much speed into the corner. Even if Lewis had moved left, not sure how Max could have completed the corner and stayed on track. Max is a great driver, one of the best, but his critical decision thinking when under pressure has and still is questionable. Drivers sometimes forget that their team is on their side, the designers, engineers, strategists......any part of a car can have a bad day, drivers lambasting their team on the public radio is not the sign of a good driver, just helps give Drive To Survive some juicy race clips. Schumacher was an outstanding team leader without being a team principal, he rarely bad mouthed his team in interviews and kept his concerns for the closed door meetings (he would help DTS ratings!).

i think it's just a racing incident, but think max could be more clever than this. he was clearly frustrated with the team. so we actually saw jos 2 today. things are going wrong with redbull after newey left horner drama. it might be becoming worse so maybe a 4th championship but that's it..... and hamilton always makes contact with one of his front tyres, this is also not 100% correct.

Well, Hamilton can be in the mix for the title, but he still doesn’t have the car for the championship. Norris could easily be the champion, and the difference in points in today’s race doesn’t change that, and they do have the car to win both championships. I would put my money on Noris to win the championship, Red Bull is suffering from poor team dynamics. You cannot win with a team in disarray, that’s what Noris giving up this win was all about, to try to avoid destructive tension in the team, so they could work together to win both champions.
