I agree with Anthony, they should do more live recordings of theatre like this and then release it a couple of years after so that people who don’t have the money to see a broadway production can still be a part of it. Don’t get me wrong film translations are great and I’m looking forward to in the heights but they aren’t the same as a stage performance and something gets lost along the way where as this Hamilton is as close as you can get to seeing the original cast on stage and being able to be a part of that

good idea but release it right after the musical closes too. I'm more worried about the actors losing their jobs because won't pay to see it in person.

@@jonothandoeser except that there are so many people who, even after they've watched the live recordings or the bootlegs, would still kill to see it in person because it's just a different experience. it is a factor, because the non-theater people don't really feel the same, but it also costs a shit ton to put something like this together so they don't always do it. also contracts can be messy
