I created this video with the KZbin Video Editor ( / editor ) as the title says it is a review of the Hamilton Beach 63325. I have been using it to make bread several times a week and general purpose cakes and what not.

I bought myself one of these November 2019, and just using it tonight for the first time to make my mom a birthday cake. So excited. Thanks for the review. Hopefully, mine will last as long as yours.

It has been almost one and half years since I started using this machine. Making about two loaves of sourdough bread in it a week, plus other assorted things. Slows down, takes a little longer to do the dough, but it goes and goes. I really think this machine will out live the three year warranty I bought with it. Time will tell.

blindpigfighter2 Does it survived the warranty? Just curious to know
@blindpigfighter2

@@pradeephooda2681 Yes. About 3 years ago I stopped making bread several times a week. So it now just gets pulled out every now and then, but still going strong. I have been very happy with the longevity and toughness of this mixer.

Thanks for the updates after all these years! I just ran into this and all im really looking for is a stand mixer that can mix and knead a dough without any intervention. Some mixers dont have a good design so the hook doesnt reach the bottom or the edges of the bowl so u need to keep scraping it yourself.

Still going. I make less bread now, maybe three times a month, with it. I do mix fresh tortilla dough a couple times a month now. Still no problems!

@@ViperChipz Actually it is about 7 years at this point. I do not use it very often since my life changed a lot, but it still works.

Sept 17th. Still using it, not problems. Only small compliant that I have developed is that you cannot get the bread hook wet and keep it that way as it oxidizes horribly and gets covered with a disgusting black powder. So I no longer wash it in the dishwasher, where is might be slightly wet for a long time.

Still going strong, and it still slows waaaaay down when I make thick dough. I have never gone over setting 2 as the manual suggests, and it just keeps on going.

Thanks for posting this review. I am in the market for a stand mixer for the purpose of making bread, but cannot afford a Kitchen Aid. This looks like it will be sufficient for that purpose.
@blindpigfighter2

Mine has been great so far. My old broken K-aide was actually twice as big as I needed, and did not fit well on my counter because it was to tall. When I bought my new mixer I bought a three year protection plan for pretty cheap because the item cost less then $75 total, so much better all around for me and my needs. Hope it works out for you, glad it was helpful :-)

My kitchen aid has metal parts in the motor. I paid $35.00 used for it with hook, whisk and flat beater. I believe it sounds better and is slow if I don't mix too much flour together at once. It is made in the USA. KA Classic has plastic parts in it and are easily replaced. HB well, I will keep my KA . Nice review though.

thanks for the review. i want a kitchen aid, not the biggest the smallest would be fine and i want the attachments as well but i can't find it for under $300 even the used ones are expensive especially with shipping. that is out of my price range so i am looking at this brand.

They have redone this machine and called it the 63328, it seems to be the exact same thing to me. If anyone can find any differences at all, please drop me a note! I am still satisfied with this mixer, not happy (to be honest I really want a Hamilton Beach that will not break) but I am glad it continues to work. I stopped using speed 2 on bread because I heard an occasional grinding sound, takes 2-3 minutes longer to make bread but other then that it continues to plod on.

Still going strongish, still using it to make bread several times a week. I will admit however that I only use it to stir the bread for about 5 minutes now, it just takes to long to mix sourdough bread to the degree it needs. I will sometimes leave it in for 15 minutes, although not often. If I leave the dough in for 5 minutes it is completely mixed and then I just do it by hand for another 5-7 minutes. At 15 minutes I still usually do it by hand for at least a minute or two just to be sure it as elastic as it needs to be.

Northkratt Yes the KitchenAid is better in all aspects but one, it will break when I make dough for bread. I did keep it but it's broken and I haven't fixed it again. I don't have room in my cabinet for two mixers anyway :-)

When the dough ball is formed you should stop the machine, the metal dough hook also reacts with the yeast/raising agent and affects the bread baking, but it is minimal

Do you still recommend this over Kitchenaid? Kitchenaid allows you to add attachment to grind the wheat to have fresh highly neutition (that should keep you slim) flour.

KitchenAide is awesome, I really really liked mine. For everything else other then making bread my KA was far and away the better machine. But broken means usless, I have a cheap mixer that does the job. Only superior in that it does what I ask it to do and does not break. Sad but true.

+HLessJonCooks Thanks for your message! I was hoping 120V 50/60 Hz on the lable. I saw the manual but was not clear they wrote... any voltage and waveform specified on the rating lable (e.g 120V 60Hz). I think I can use it in my country with few downside! They are selling it here (imported from USA) but at a higher price!

The motor is laboring big-time, almost stalling. It may get the job done now but that motor is dying a slow death. Clearly 4 cups of flour exceeds the upper limit of this machine's capability.

+Food Porn Network I still make two loafs of sourdough bread in it per week+, always sounds like that, has not broken yet. I just wish the KitchenAid never broke, maybe by the time I need a new one (I figure 3 years is as long as this will last, but at this rate who knows) the KitchenAid will be made with better gears and I will get one then.

Is this an all metal mixer?
@blindpigfighter2
@blindpigfighter2 9 жыл бұрын
No. The bowel is metal and two of the mixing attachments are metal. The casing is plastic, I have no idea what the internal components are made of, but it has lasted longer then the last KitchenAide I had. Pretty much what you see in the vid is what I got.

The specs are exactly the same, I would suspect they are the same basic item, with something inside made cheaper or different requiring a new parts list and thus a new model number.
