Trisha Tolentino Icarus was a historical figure.Most likely a fairytale.Basically Icarus and his father were trapped in some tower and his dad made fake wings for them to escape and they were made with wax.His father told Icarus not to fly to high or else the sun will melt the wax.Icarus didn't listin and flew to high.The sun melted the wax he fell and then died.Hence why eliza said Icarus cuz Alexander flew to "close to the sun".And by that she means hes delusional

"Your enemy whispers so you have to scream" is SUCH a brilliant line. There's so much to dissect here, but basically, this trait was Hamilton's downfall. Rumors circle that he was being blackmailed by Reynolds. He didn't really have to say anything, but his pride was shattered, so he had to write it all in a 91 page essay and hurt everyone. Burr and Hamilton, already on rocky ground, finally reached a point where Burr challenges Hamilton to a duel. He whispered and Alex screamed, accepting the duel to yet again shield his honor. However, this left him dead and his family in debt. There are so many things about the sentence that make this even worse, but yeah. God, Miranda is a lyrical genuis.
