Thank you for putting these videos together - particularly those of Hamilton. They were all fantastic. What made you choose the neighbourhoods you did? (knowing there are many other additional 'heritage' neighbourhoods throughout Hamilton - what made you choose the ones you covered?) Thanks again for the great walking tours!

They seemed to me to be the most prominent neighbourhoods in the city, but I know I left a number of areas out. With luck I'll be able to come back to Hamilton and do more. At bare minimum I should do a Dundas video at some point.

I really enjoyed this look back to the neighbourhood near where I grew (I lived on Beulah Ave). My only query is why you pronounce Herkimer St. as Herkimire. My bucket list includes going back and walking the whole area from Queen to Chedoke. So many memories.

Thanks! I enjoyed putting it together myself. As for the pronunciation, I was doing my research entirely from paper sources. I live in London, and I've been having a lot of fun researching the history of other parts of Southwestern Ontario for this project - indeed, part of the point was to force myself to learn a little more regional history - but I'm aware that pronunciation errors have crept in here and there.

These videos of my hometown are great but honestly, learn to pronounce street names properly. It's really irritating when you mis-pronounce a name or names on multiple videos. Other than that, thoroughly enjoyed this. Once lived on Aberdeen Ave till we moved again, eventually landing on the mountain.
