I owned and ran one of these machines for about 12 yrs. I could put so much wood on the ground with this machine. Thinning or clear cut was no problem! Was an absolute joy to run. Former logger in central NC.

That weiley is soo smart that old boy knows his way around heavy equipment and hank your just the bees knees.HOW BOUTCHA even though you say you're not a mechanic..dude. you know what the hell your doing and that daughter of yours is real pretty. Sometimes guys things just don't work out and its probably for the best of this one. That was a ton of blow by for that engine. I would do the same thing and try and find another replacement for the skidder. It all turned our at the end with a great blizzard from DQ. Y"all have a great and safe week and God bless.

If you are using ether, try to remove the air filter and spray it in while it is cranking. It will help it suck in more ether.

Hey don’t worry that is probably the easiest engine to rebuild, I bought one that came out of a bread truck and the motor was full of water, had it bored, new pistons, bigger injectors, bigger turbo and she ran fabulous
