For the oil, if you take a square piece of paper, fold in half to make a triangle, you will have 3 points, take one bottom point and fold, then the other to the other side, lastly take the top point fold down towards the bottom and you have a paper bowl that hold oil. Then empty and recycle. Job done. Enjoy x

Those kittens are so cute!!! I think hand sewing clothes needing mending is much better than using a sewing machine to do it. I always hand mend but use my sewing machine for things like my actual projects. I don't wear aprons when I am cooking (though I probably should since I get flour on my clothes), but yours are so pretty! I love the sound of frogs so much. I hope the frog got to have his own version of coffee. It is so good that your husband and Hami spend time playing games together.

Your comment about nothing good being cheap reminds me of a quote I saw in a book (I think they said it was from a bottle of whiskey from a Spanish distiller): The good life is expensive. There's another way to live, but it isn't any good. You can make even cafeteria trays look charming. It has a lot to do with the food that's being served on them, I think. Your meal looks infinitely times better than the frozen pizza or mystery meat we got in school.

Thank you for sharing these details. I would like to say that I make roasted potatoes using a similar method to yours, but with a different seasoning. It's really good, and I hope you try it. I put a tablespoon of olive oil or any other type of oil in a bowl, then add a tablespoon of dried thyme, along with half a teaspoon each of salt, cinnamon, turmeric, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix them well, then brush the potatoes with the mixture, making sure to get it between the slices. Bake them in the oven or air fryer and serve them warm. I hope you enjoy it! 💜
