True, but I think anyone who sees that thing while walking to their car would be so completely freaked out (and probably fixated on its face) that they wouldn't even see the human legs. Plus the human legs might be the only thing that keeps someone from shooting at it (that might not be a real threat in the UK, but try this prank in Texas....)

Yeah all the prank channels you see these days people overreact and idiots actually believe their reactions are real. In this case though, clearly they know something is up because Hamish and Andy often play pranks on their co-workers. When they saw it, they ran away from it but they also laughed as well because they knew it wasn't real. People who don't understand this, they think people's reactions should be like all those ACTUAL fake prank channels, where the people overreact and run screaming terrified, in some instances going fight instead of flight. It's so ridiculous those other prank channels; people want a good reaction so badly they'll happily believe a paid actor over a real reaction.

Instead of using only CGI for raptors im movies, they should use similar costumes but green screen out the legs, so there can be more practical effects. It'll look wayy more real and convincing.

Gato Dj he said raptors
@duckcoo-i9k6 жыл бұрын
They actually did that in the first film. They wore digisuits of the raptor, it for some complicated scenes I think they used cgi, likes fights. In a majority of the scenes the trex was real too. In the raining scene the skin for the rex became to heavy so in between shots they had to dry it all out XD

@uncomfortablyclose84816 жыл бұрын
They always cover things up with cgi in movies, otherwise it would look akin to a puppet with bad lighting. They used to the same technique they used in the original JP. To say that you should use no cgi whatsoever is like saying we should go back to having silent black and white films.
@septon40876 жыл бұрын
Sorry but cgi is here to stay. It's much cheaper than building an animatronic that will probably break or go out of use

It doesn't have feathers because in jurrasic park they took frog DNA and filled in the missing DNA cells from the blood the mosquito had of the dinosaur, so it made them more look reptile/amphibian like. Also it makes them look more terrifying.

With any predatory animal that is staring you in the face, you're going to be looking at its jaws full of sharp teeth for a split second before you begin to run in the opposite direction. You won't be looking at its leg area first. Women especially tend to react that way to scary things like bugs in their hair, so it's not too hard to figure out why they would be scared of a guy in a realistic velociraptor suit. Frankly, they freak out much worse than this when they think they have a bee on their back, even to the point of hysterics and/or tears. As far as these lasses and the older woman are concerned, their logic centers kicked in after a second or two and they realized that dinos no longer exist, but the fight or flight reaction still took place because it's natural instinct to flee from large, imposing animals (because most large, imposing animals do tend to be dangerous, save for the rare peaceful ones like dolphins and manatees). Plus, the raptor's head and neck extend so far forward that your eyes will naturally focus on those parts well before you think to look at its legs. When you squint a little, the person's legs seem to fade into the background quite a bit, especially if his leggings better match the color of the dino's skin. That particular animal is actually perfectly designed to obscure the shape of a human being inside, especially when the guy crouches low. First and foremost, it's bipedal and the hind legs are so far under its torso and its head and neck project so far ahead.
