Outstanding demostration. I'm surprised these demos have not caught the eye of some kind of movie company.

At 3:09 you can try to bend your left knee against the weak side of your opponents right knee to buckle him down. It would make sense to try and avoid taking your opponents weight when throwing him and getting caught somewhere and going with him. Throwing your knee into the weak side of a knee guarantees a down and to boot it turns him away from you while driving your sword into his neck.

I wouldn't say that. It's more a case of taking creative license with actual techniques since, in reality, two master combatants fighting each other wouldn't last too long. William Fredkin explained this point very well in the director's commentary to The Hunted in which the actors learned various kali techniques for the knife fighting sequences.

It's more like a strike when he's pushing with his upper body. A knee push and shove your body into the man. You would be the right side at 3:09(instructor's position). I know it's never a good idea to lose ground with either foot but it doesn't seem like there's a danger with a leg that is barely used because you're already leaning into his guard with your upper body. I have no examples visually. 3:09, drop and get under his center of gravity with your left knee into his right knee, pushing.

@HandRpuffin Movie companies aren't interested in real combat worthy techniques.... Just something that looks good to them on camera. ;(
