Thank you very much! We all throw bad shots so why would I want to hide them? I say it all the time I’m not a pro, and my game is still evolving. The goal is to give everyday people a small understanding what these balls can do.

I’ve been looking at this ball as an upgrade to older balls I’ve got. Love the color and how it moves. I throw like you at 24/8, and when that ball leaves your hand, you can just tell it’s money. Great video, going over the full stand position and throwing boards.

The black widow 2.0 is a pretty great ball. It’s a definite can’t miss adding it to your collection. I have 2 myself one pin up and the other pin down.

I just purchased this ball (14lbs) and played 10 practice games with it Thursday morning. This is the strongest ball I own. I play two-handed with a generally slow ball speed. My current favorite ball is the Motiv Primal Shock. So how did I like the Black Widow 2.0? Well, due to the strong core and this ball's desire to turn left, I couldn't get it to the pocket. It kept hooking early on me. It didn't matter where I stood. My pro-shop guy recommended I polish it up and try again, which I will Friday. I'm hoping the polish does the trick, as this ball looks really good and I want to use it (plus, it wasn't exactly cheap). He also recommended that I move my target further down lane. Usually, I aim for the arrows. I wonder, if I still can't get the ball to work for me, can it be plugged and re-drilled so it is a bit weaker but still have a nice hook down lane?

Ok so the widow 2.0 comes out the box at 1,500 grit, so it comes out the box aggressive. So I would absolutely recommend that you either take a abralon pad to the ball. I would definitely recommend taking a 3-4,000 pad to the ball. What this will do is make the ball go further down the lane before starting to hook. I’m betting you that will more than help you even with a lower speed.

@@brigham2250 no problem and surface on a ball really matters. You could also just have your Proshop guy take the surface to 4,000.

@@badbadbowling101 -- The polish helped a lot. It is Motiv 5000 grit. I managed two low 200 games. I am confident I can improve on that. Plus, in a strange turn of events, a guy I know has the same Black Widow 2.0 ball (the same 14lbs) and he didn't want it. He gave it to me. I will have it plugged and drilled a little different. Thx again!

I'm consider a back up bowler, what ball would you suggest would be a good fit for my bowling style?? Thank you

Well I think as a backup bowler any ball can fit your style. I could throw several balls out there, but without watching you it’s difficult. So we have two choices first I can just give you my recommendation or you can send a video then I can give you more than just an educated guess.

Ball is so dynamic, feels like that layout might waste the ball

The ball is very Dynamic, and your right the layout could be more aggressive. For example it could have been 55x5x45 or 50 if I wanted more of out the ball. However I’m getting plenty out of it and I know just how it bites coming off the oil. I also drilled the thumb whole a little deeper which gives the ball a little more bite

I can get this ball for about $40 from a friend of mine.. I'm not advanced but im not a beginner either, will this be too much ball for me? For the price I look at it as a ball I can grow into.. What would you say?

If you can get the ball I would say get it. It don’t matter if your a beginner or advanced when it comes to your selection in bowling balls. I would recommend if your going to get a ball go into your local Proshop, and have them get it axis point. I think that’s something everyone should have done if you want to keep growing as a bowler.

I used it last night in league for the last 2 games, and went 216-257 so I had fun with it. I’m going to have to either go live or record league night.

Yes pretty! The house shot is 41 feet oiled 8-8 with like 10-1 thru 12-1 ratio
