I own an ancient Atlas which I really enjoy. Yours is the first I've ever seen with hand scraping on the bed..it's a thing of beauty. Thanks Marc. :-)

Is that a Harrison Lathe? I think I use the same one everyday! Yours looks much nicer and cleaner than mine!:)

I think your terms are wrong the center you are using in the spindle is a dead center and the ones with a bearing are live centers

It is a dead centre but he refers to it as live as it is turning with the chuck.
