Many players advised me, "Lapu-Lapu and Terizla cannot use War Axe. They need instant Spell Vamp and must use Bloodlust Axe." At the same time, I was beating up my enemies with War Axe Lapu-Lapu & Terizla. Btw, Brave Smite was nerfed so badly this time that I started not to use it anymore. I have no choice but to use Impure Rage. Fortunately, Impure Rage has Mana Regen or HP Regen, plus its extra damage can trigger Spell Vamp, so it can replace Brave Smite.

Hey idk if yk, but concussive blast can actually benefit from spellvamp, so ever since the nerf on brave smite, been replacing my non-mana fighters with concussive blast as it acts as pseudo brave smite + dmg/wave clear, for the mana-type fighters, go impure rage :3

Except X.Borg, his Base HP is lower than others, it is better use Impure Rage. And I'm still using Concussive Blast for Ruby since I need to cut my lane faster.

Another thing about Brute force breastplate that you may haven't mentioned is that it also gives you resilience to low CC when in maximum effect Pair that with tough boots,and you'll almost wake up instantly from a stun CC,which is a huge deal when Barats also gets resilience at maximum stacks

Below is a long rant about why Bloodlust Axe > War Axe and why Brave Smite > Concussive. I'd like to hear your arguments. I love bloodlust axe because its way better if caught offguard. Immediately gets you 70 atk which is nothing to scoff at coupled with 8% more spell vamp which is 20% immediate spell vamp compared to slow and steady accumulation of 12% which isnt much to begin with. Also, brave smite nerf didnt affect Terizla in any negative way, its even better now since in early to mid you intend to clap your enemy and in late you get it's worth in teamfights, especially with skill 1 which can trigger it again. Whats the cooldown of brave smite? 5 or 6 seconds? And the cooldown of concussive? Oh yeah, 15 seconds with a very marginal and situational heal. So no, it doesnt even outperform the Brave Smite and another reason Brave Smite is goated and got a nerf for a reason is, it gets you out of an ambush by giving you that burst heal combined with bloodlust axe. Remember how 1st and 2nd activation of Terizla's skill 2 dont provide LARGE heal like the 3rd strike does which makes the difference? Well, now your first strike gives you about the same heal thanks to the brave smite, which makes you more confidently get to a 2nd activation and then to a desired 3rd to replenish your hp. Not to mention that concussive goes against your combo in teamfights. You ult, 1st and then spam the 2nd. Only then do you use basics when all ur skills are down. You cant afford the oracle or breastplate every game. You sometimes need early dominance, radiant or cuirass. Other items are athena, blade armor and queen's wings. Oracle + breastplate mean that a funny gusion or aamon is just gonna burst u like nothing lmao. Whats the reason i dont play breastplate or oracle even if they are extremely synergetic for Rizzler? Because at the end of the day, you will have the team enemy ruby had. You need tank items. Another thing is, queen's wings stacked with Terizla's passive gives u 44% dmg reduction for 5 seconds and an incredible amount of spell vamp (80% total spell vamp upon activation, 45% without activation). I rarely buy Oracle instead because i rarely have a support, let alone a competent one. Bloodlust axe can clear the lanes instantly if you use 1st skill on ballista then 2nd on all. Maybe a basic attack or 2 on ballista later on. If i feel like noone is clearing lanes in lategame and im taking too much i just sell my boots for a war axe. Plus i can just sell the war axe later on for rapid boots whenever i want to anyway.

You make good points and it probably suits the way you play Terizla more. Personally, I prefer War Axe. Yes, Bloodlust does offer instant stats with no conditions attached, and will perform stronger in surprise scenarios. But with the ease of stacking War Axe through Terizla's S1, I'm pretty much starting every fight with War Axe already having some, or full stacks. At max stacks, War Axe trades that 8% Spell Vamp for 27 Physical Attack + 550 HP + 10% True DMG Passive. For me, that's more than enough to buy it over Bloodlust Axe. But like I said, maybe it's just difference in our playstyles. Brave Smite will have more value in general scenarios, since it has an "unconditional" heal. Concussive Blast basically needs you to trigger it properly in order to get the maximum value. So it's again, a matter of preference. I may take either-or depending on how I feel about the specific match-ups I'm playing. Concussive isn't that great against agile enemies who will easily dodge out of Concussive's range. As for Oracle/Brute, yup agreed. You can't buy this combo every game. This is why I always encourage viewers to adjust equipment as necessary. There's no fixed build to follow, especially when it comes to Defensive equipment. But I also do like to recommend suitable equipment and show their benefits. Great write-up. @@RubyRubyRubyGameplay ofc brother, i love giving constructive criticism and constructive arguments as a man of culture. As for me, the reason i prefer Bloodlust over that JUICY 550 hp war axe is because i really love reliability and a comeback chance, hence i always spam QW and bloodlust together with Vengeance. If i use Vengeance and my QW pops, thats 63,6% dmg reduction for 3 whole seconds which makes sure i cast my ult and do a counter cc, giving me room to resist and make a comeback. I manage to make Vengeance work because im a seasoned tank main so i know how to position, move in general and flank for that surprise ult as well as peel and zone. My personal underrated item is Rapid Boots for lategame as well as keeping Guardian helm in spare items ALWAYS in case you are low hp and have retreated but cant heal from spell vamp because that'd take too much time while you NEED to come back into the fight. Trust me, guardian helm in spare items is a MUST. ALways goated in a pinch.

I manage my mana by not constantly using my skill 1 as thats the reason your mana gets all eaten up. I only use skill 1 when i estimate the need for it. Aside for that, whenever you see a chance to clear a wave immediately, do so and recall if your mana is around one third. Trust me, this mana management works really well.
