I've usually just replaced my filter with a high flow one and changed out intake tube cause stock always starves the vehicle. Add my own insulation to the factory box because the factory intake location has been well thought out. Always had great results.

I got my 5th gen Camaro RS used..and it had a Cold Air Induction Intake.. Love it. Except, on mine, the high quality silicone goes from the Throttle body , down into the elbow, then goes to metal one

K&n does improve performance, although yes it's not a real cold air intake. I have some k&n's that go thru the sheild not one so I guess that's just depends on the design. But the thermal coating and insulation is a much better design. Factory box is not a horrible idea since it pulls air from outside its just restricted.i like the volant because it's a sealed box but way less restrictive then the factory

I've been looking at these for my Challenger SRT8, and really like the design of them. The first time that I saw one, it was on an SS and caught my eye. I like how the box is sealed & isinsulated, as well as the ceramic-coated intake tube and looks like a much better design than most CAI on the market. When I bought my Challenger, it already had an aFe on it and has a gap where the fender meets the box at the bottom. They are usually a really good company with highly engineered products, but not impressed with the particular unit and doesn't look much better than that POS K&N. Speaking of them, they really used to be the thing when they first came out and not so much now that there's a lot of competition and are some great products on the market

My camaro has the oil catch can. My 10 SS has this installed. The fool who installed it removed the reservoir for the windshield. So I’m sure mines not hooked up right. Good vid

Yeah I just installed a K&N and I wish I had seen this video before buying it. The fit is so disappointing with the huge gaps and the bottom and at the front along the rad support.

Brooo that’s the only other Camaro identical to mine that I’ve ever seen I custom ordered it in 2013 with the 2ss trim and 1le and the ground effects kit and all that and it looks like he got every package too that shit is super rare! Does he still have it? I actually have the same exact cold air inductions kit too that I put on in 2013 I was just searching about replacing the filter and k and n makes a big one like the cold air inductions one. Their kits are garbage but their filters are probably just as good or better I’m sure as long as you don’t get the tiny one that was on his. Sounds like he did exhaust too what did he do for headers/exhaust? Is that the 2SS like mine too with the heads up display and all that? If it is it’s literally the identical order from the factory as mine I never thought I’d see another one .

Pretty disappointed in this product from CAI and their customer service/company. I had worse gas mileage, my shift points were horrible and almost felt like my transmission was slipping at times. I was told by customer service to remove the item after 1200 miles of it trying to, "Learn" the computer and re-install my stock in take. Then after 200 miles re-install the CAI intake. I had to pay my own shipping back to the company for a refund and then wasn't credited a full refund. Awful experience.

I’m sorry to hear your car is having issues, I have run their system on multiple vehicles and have never had an issue, it kinda sounds like you may have an unrelated issue with your vehicle.

It’s so sad so many people are ok with being dishonest to make money. All you have to do is show the product and how to install it and someone will just buy it because of how it looks.
