Thank you for this. It lead my in an unexpected direction. I bought myself a rolling mill a few days ago and I've just spent a couple of hours etching a steel pattern plate, like yours, using the copper sulphate and cooking salt method. It works really well and I'm sure I'll be making many more. Kind regards . . . Andy In the UK
