Vasilios Papastefanou It's a matter of opinion, I suppose. I myself heard this version first, so I guess that has something to do with me liking this version better. I really like the original song, don't get me wrong, but I feel that this cover is better. But, if you feel like the original is best, I won't object.

That's not a cover. Because Udo has sang it with Accept 35 years ago. This was redone by him, This time with HammerFall.

Good cover. But the solo is nowhere near the original from Hoffmann. There is so much spirit and mojo in it. That the whole sound setup - the lead and the 2nd - gives some sort of dreamy, floating atmosphere to it. Several other tracks on that album has much of the same. Though I think the solo on this track is one of their very best. Like in Comfortably Numb, it is not so much the technique as it is the "soul" in it that makes the solo magic.
