Another thing you can do is put a few twists in your tree strap before feeding it into your cinch buckle. It makes the straps into a kind of twist/spiral, that naturally makes the water drip off. The drip lines work just as well - just another method of staying dry.

Check out False Cape State Park! I have been yet but you can camp on the beach. I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. Another one to check out is First Landing State Park. I’ve been there but never camped there. Great place

But the mountains is my preferred spot. Specifically Shenandoah National Park! Can’t beat the fresh air and privacy there🙌 hope this helps!
