It really is easy and simple but you are right. I also did not know it the first time I used a hammock, but was quickly shown this by another hammock user.. Never went back... Thanks Mark!

Just remember not to go too low to the ground.. The straps do stretch some during the night and you may be all the way on the ground by morning. Thanks DC&A
