Kent Woods Comparing a Parrot AR drone to any 3DR multirotor is like comparing a Mighty Wheelz to a Corvette. 3DR makes completely autonomous multirotors that when coupled with appropriate control/video transmitters, can fly for miles and do some very unique "missions". 3DR is unique because their products support opensource code and be programmed to do anything. Another popular brand of flight controller is DJI. DJI is more user friendly and offers a plug-and-play option to those who do not know how to program, flash firmware, or build even build multirotors. Most notably the plug-and-play system called the DJI Phantom. For as little as 900$, anyone can buy this autonomous drone and fly it, despite the owners knowledge in the systems that run it. Hope this helps.

In my personal opinion, I would say it's really important that you follow up with litigation. Perhaps your adverse to conflict, but this isn't an isolated issue. Had you not have gotten a recording, had she been a bit more clever and didn't physically assault you in front of a camera, it could have ended with you in jail with a permanent stain on your record. But by pursuing litigation, it will help bring to light the gap in gender equality not only for women but also for men, and there isn't a better case to prove it than yours. Hopefully then there will be a safe future for all of us. Of course it is your life to live, and your free to do as you wish. In the end, I'm just glad things turned out okay for you!

***** Prove that his parents bought his drone please.And if he had ran than he would give her the opportunity to deceive the police as to the events that took place.(accuse him of things that otherwise didn't occur)Filmed evidence makes it plainly obvious that she is the aggressor and he's the victim I'm also pretty sure that if you actually have evidence that something happened instead of making allegations to police off of perceived assumptions of what is occurring, then it wouldn't be you making mountains out of molehills.

***** If a man attacked a woman, and pinched her, you wouldn't say "oh she's lucky she got some action" would you? He was attacked. Physical violence cannot be justified just because you think it seems sexual. Even if it was sexual, are you saying that it's ok for a woman to sexually assault a man, but not the other way around?
@chiefrocka20910 жыл бұрын
***** The justice system will never take your side when a woman accuses you of something unless you provide proof stating otherwise. Your idea of dodging her attacks and running away would be self-incriminating and make him seem guilty, yet he did nothing wrong here. I see what your saying and yes, in some cases that may be true, but this isn't one of them because she immediately involved the police which now becomes a legal matter that couldn't be avoided. She brought it upon herself, man. It's not his fault. Once she dialed the number she sealed her fate.

I might question a quad with a telephoto lens attached hovering over a beach full of half nude hotties, but then again you can probably get better shots from the ground shooting from under a towel. Not that I've ever done that, but I can imagine how I would approach the challenge. Most quad footage is shot with wide angle from over 100 feet which means you could probably not make out a persons face much less their delicate parts. It's more of a panorama shoot than up close FBI surveillance video, but I bet most non quad folks don't know the specifics and imagine that we are looking at the pimples on their back from 400 feet up with wide angle lens.

Cool. I hate people putting drones. Clearly being safe and not flying over large crowds of people. If you're like me most video gets deleted. I have a hat can that I made for my gopro and you wouldn't believe how many people hate being recorded. I enjoy making up stories about why I do it. My favorite is so I can prove to my parole officer I wasn't anywhere I want supposed to be. To me the video of the woman assaulting you seemed fake. If I didn't want someone recording me and I would have crushed the drone it's a lesser charge. But after all she was an idiot. Either way it was cool. Man that beach was so still. No wind at all perfect day for flying.

Because of what happened here, also these things can and do fail. Props break, video system failure, esc failure, the list goes on. Im so for these things just feel people should fly them a little more safely by not flying over people. The general public has this misconception that you can see right down a girls shirt, or something along those lines. Hence the brutal attack for "taking pictures of people on the beach". There is so much fun to be had, and beautiful flights to be recorded without flying over some person enjoying a public place. Also we havent seen the first 3 flights he took......... He may have gone right down over or in front of the sunbathers. Time will tell if he posts the other 3 flights...
