Yeah, which is also why both of them are so slow. Given both are due for a service and had pretty worn tires. @Digijams I don't know if you know this, but you don't have to choose one over another, it is possible to be suscribed to more than 1 car youtuber. @@kurtsudheim825 Lamborghini made plenty of cars, but it seemed they changed their V12 flagship around every 10 years Miura was the 70's Countach was the 80's (kinda sorta) Diablo was the 90's Murcielago was the 2000's Aventador was the 2010's And there might not be another V12 flagship. In today's day and age, where the market is ruled by turbocharged vehicles, we might not get another V12 N/A flagship.

BTW, I was not surprised with the outcome of the video. These two cars were very evenly matched for stats -- I think both were rated at 0-60mph in 5.6s -- but IIRC, the Countach was always supposed to be slightly more powerful and faster. (I'm not verifying stats right now, this is all from memory. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

@@Dan-Black I'm feeling free ;-) These were my 2 bedroom wall pinups. I always prefered the Countach - especially the prototype before they turned it into a cartoon car with all the scoops and wings. However I think James must have been eating too many pies.... Or just living up to the Captain Slow nickname! The disappointing fact is that despite Lamborghinis exaggerated performance claims the Ferrari was the faster. 0-60 5.2 secs compared to 5.6 for the Lambo and 186 top end whereas the Countach wouldnt reach much more than 175. Still who cares - they're near enough matched to make no difference in the real world on public highways

The Countachs 1:31 in the Wet is the fastest of any old car at the Eboladrome. It was only 5 seconds slower than new NSX in wet.
