My name is Hammo and I stream on Twitch! I play a variety of "map games" and strategy games, but my favourite game by far is Hearts of Iron IV.
I love this game and it's complexity, strategy and historical focus, but these are also reasons people can find it hard to get into Hoi4. The endless spreadsheets, statistics, buffs and debuffs can be overwhelming without someone to show you the ropes, which is where this channel comes in!
I will be creating and posting beginners guides, tutorials, walkthroughs, tips and tricks videos, just about everything I can to get you playing and enjoying Hearts of Iron IV as much as I do!

@@hammotimee question wouldn't comined arms expert better then panzer expert bcz half of tank divs most of times comprised of motor/Mechanized?

@@veersavarkar5857 That sounds like a good idea, but in reality the big heavy hitters of the division are your tanks, so I'd always focus the bonuses on them!

@@veersavarkar5857It'd be better for the divisions' defense stat because mot/mech make up most of that. However, +defense from general traits also increases breakthrough, which you really, really want on your tank divs.

Sorry to say but cavalry expert works on all infantry mech and motorised feedback did a couple videos on it showing how broken it was

Tbh thinking back on it, it might be the otherwise around. That infantry leader effects cavalry bonuses aswell as the infantry high command. Its defo a bug either way but one that hasn't been patched out for a few months since feedback gaming brought it to light (that I know of).

Yeah they're for certain countries only, and you'd need the No Step Back/Battle for the Bosphorus DLCS 😁

Anyway, im mostly playing role games with minor nation (my country for sure lol) and i want my new general (and only general) to lvl up fast ( even without traits ) is there a way ?

Haha thanks so much! 😁 Yeah man, best way is to just make sure they have the max amount of troops under their command, that way there's more divisions to give him xp. He also only levels up from battles so you can either pull some troops off the frontline to prompt the enemy to attack or you can force attack with everyone if you can afford the losses!

Let's say i have 100 mechanized units, and my field marshal with logistics genius is an infantry expert. How does it affect the units vs using a combined arms expert?

So long as the general leading the army of mechanised has the combined arms expert that's fine, probably not worth to promote a general to field marshal for the combined arms bonus as a field marshal only gives 50% of any general traits they have 😊

I think that you should have mentioned the fact that 3 or more traits can be grinded for simultaneously wich lets you bypass the penalty for grinding additional traits like having 3 cav and 3 tanks as volunteers wich will grant you xp for organiser panzer and cav leader I also disagree with your approach to cav as they benefit from both infantry and cav leader traits wich staks really good at least for single player

That's a great point about the general grinding! RE: the cav thing, they get the benefit of 1, maybe 2 doctrines for the entirety of the whole 4 doctrines, so cav are really good early game, but fall behind quickly
