This video is about my recent trip to Hampi which is 8 hours drive from Bangalore. Hampi is one of my favourite places and it is a good weekend gateway from Bangalore. You can ride friday overnight, reach saturday early morning to Hampi and then start back on sunday night and reach Bangalore on Monday early morning.
Hampi, Karnataka - Hampi, also referred to as the Group of Monuments at Hampi, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in east-central Karnataka, India. It became the center of the Hindu Vijayanagara Empire capital in the 14th-century. Chronicles left by Persian and European travelers particularly the Portuguese state Hampi as a prosperous, wealthy and grand city near the Tungabhadra river with numerous temples, farms and trading markets. By 1500 CE, Hampi-Vijayanagara was the world's second largest medieval era city (after Beijing) and probably India's richest at that time, attracting traders from Persia and Portugal. The Vijayanagara Empire was defeated by a coalition of Muslim Sultanates, its capital was conquered, pillaged and destroyed by Sultanate armies in 1565, after which Hampi remained in ruins.
Little Adventure : It is a travel series I am working on where I will be traveling to places which can be visited over a weekend. Starting this series from Bangalore :)

Buddy just found you now around 2 AM. your videos are truly mesmerising. The Hampi video took me 13 years back. I remember climbing up the Kishkinda hills. Its beleived to be ruled by the vanaras. I've always liked making such travel videos and have recently started doing some on my own, just as a recreation. Got myself a Spark, loving it so far for it's size despite just 1080p, good enough quality for me. I'm always concerned about flying around public places like temples but you seem to have no problems (or maybe you seek permission prior..), any tips for this?
