What always threw me with these was the horrific noise from the 42”, but the 52” was dead silent on every speed. I installed a handful of these, but earlier on, 2005-ish. The 52” ones weren’t huge air movers, but you could hear a pin drop with them on. 42” was a cacophony. Side note, in 2006 I helped my grandmother’s neighbor install his 42” properly in a baby’s nursery. He had installed the mounting bracket with zip-ties to the old light fixture bracket. Wife wasn’t having it. Came across the street and asked my 17 year old self to intervene. I was paid with a police-grade MagLight flashlight, as he was a cop. It got confiscated two weeks later during a traffic stop for no front license plate. Ironically, it was while driving to my uncle’s house to install a Reddington III in his dining room, that hangs today.

The noise on high speed reminds me of the Nine Inch Nails song Mr. Self Destruct.

I HATE LANDMARKS, Noisy, Cheap, Move no air. Get casablancas and hunter originals. I'm kidding, who cares about quality.

They can be noisy and cheap, but they do move a decent amount of air.

@@kaysonthefancollector8826 The current owners of the old house replaced all of the Littletons with something else and may have even installed some additional fans. Current house still has all of the same fans.
