I know what your building a nation saves are about and I understand your standards on the save due to the fact tha i ve been enjoying ur content since 2020 and u r the master in this type of saves. But due to the fact that u are in malta would it be possible at any time to manage the national team or to try to push the dynamic youth rate of the country doing something. I know it’s difficult but I think we all belive that at any point of the save u will achieve the objective to establish maltese league as one of the strong leagues. So it’s just a proposal would it be possible at any time to try and hundle a more ambitious project at malta?

matt's method of building a nation is coincidentally the best way to push for National Youth Rating, but there's 2 hurdles to push for dynamic youth rating; nation's population and clubs' youth-related facilities. Yes, you heard it right, clubs itself can impede the push. the way SI's staff explained it, is that if the club is improving their youth-related facilities, it give the nation itself less incentives to improve its grass-root facilities because the clubs are doing it for them already

I had no idea on this fact. i thought that more wins with the national team would atract more fans, making importance for football in the country higher and pushing the dynamic youth rating

@@chuwei1179 sadly any variable that's embedded into the nation like game important, FA financial power and state of development are fixed. so dynamic youth rating could only be felt on nation like China, Germany, etc.

Theres simply no point in managing the national team in this save. It'll slow the progress down massively. In addition national team management in FM is tedious in my opinion. But most importantly, the save has nothing to do with the national team. It's always been about making the best league in Europe :) Dynamic youth ratings in FM basically don't have any noticeable difference unless the save was over 200 years long, even then it'd be doubtful whether you'd see a difference. Sadly it's just be a waste of time :(

My understanding of Football Manager is that national team success has no bearing on the youth rating of a nation. It is the youth facilities of the clubs in a nation plus how important football is to a nation that determines the youth rating of a nation.

according to SI staff, youth facilities of the clubs could actually hinder the increase of youth rating of a nation. to quote them, "if a nation with low spending power is already seeing improvement in the quality of young players due to improvements and investments made by clubs, then the nation itself will deem further investments into grass roots structures less necessary, as the improvement in quality is already happening".

I should stress, this save isn't about the national team. I was just showing them as i always get asked about their progress due to all the players naturalising to Maltese nationality

Just noticed Seoane. formerly of Sirens, scored for Sevilla against Newcastle in the round where Dinamo Zagreb knocked Swieqi out. Also, that tie looks exciting - after losing the first leg 5-2, Sevilla made it 4-0 in the 87th min of the second leg, only for Newcastle to equalise on aggregate in 90+5 and then win in the last minute of ET. Always fun seeing the batshit stuff that happens in other fixtures in FM lol

Did you a while ago say by any chance say that you use the RDF training schedules? If yes, do your players not complain about the training? I am using the RDF training schedules because it was mentioned in a video and my players keep complaining about the amount of physical training (which caused me to remove one of the two athletic blocks per week).

it's because recovery session is counted as physical training, I found 2-3 physical training is the sweet spot.

I've not had too many issues with it complaints wise. Sometimes they bang on about certain sessions but i find, just reshuffling the coaches seems to shut them up for a few months

I'm building Lincoln red imps for champions league glory 3 seasons In I've managed to win 2 league titles ,2 rock cups and 1 papa reyes cup we went up the UEFA rankings +3 so we get a extra UECL spot if Any club finishes 4th in the championship group .this season I've gone bargain hunting bringing in some ageing players +the polish Leicester goalkeeper on loan we are in the europa league for the 2nd year in a row. We got so close to making the Champions league but got FC Kobenhavn in the playoff round . I've competed in the UCL UEL and the UECL making money like that .

I'm currently trying to do similar with Europa Point, so far I've not won any trophies or European games, but I've finished 3rd behind Europa FC and Lincoln for the last 5 seasons... So we're making progress.

@MasterTramsKZbin yeah it'd tough with the offer teams with Lincoln because there squad is the best in the league they can get in Europe regularly .problems are in Gibraltar you pretty much have to reach at least the conference league to get a decent transfer budget. I've rebuilt getting rid of the non league players and signing older European stars and EFL Standard players .
