Tunnel Runner's movement is just perpetual motion. If you hit forward, it keeps moving you forward until you hit another direction. You might be overcomplicating the movement a bit.

Taz definitely gets harder as you play it. The items get faster, and they keep changing into different foods. Hamburgers, beer mugs, ice cream, corn dogs, etc.
