Hamsterley Forest - Red Route Trails + Off Piste Madness

Recent trip to Hamsterley Forest for a Big Spin Round Red Trails & Technical Off Piste that the woods has to offer!
This ride was a daft spin around the lovely woods at Hamsterley, where one of my bosses showed me round some of the technical Off Piste trails on the windy bank side, near the Danny Harts Descent park.
After this we headed up to the Red trails going down K-line where we got some sick drone shots of our little crew, then following the red route down Transmission, Accelerator & Nitrous. Finally we headed to an area of the woods I have not yet explored and ventured down even more tight and pinned Off Piste trails.
I wouldn't recommend the red route to avid Mountain bikers due to the loose gravel which seems to have been placed down to suit families and easy spinners. There are a few good tables on K-Line to practice on for anyone wanting progression with jumping, and Accelerator has some fast sections, but again is sadly covered in loose gravel… However the Off Piste was a lot better for the experienced riders but can be difficult to find if you don't know your way around.
If you are in the area I would recommend Danny Harts Descent park over the normal red route, pay £8 for the push up and hit some crazy downhill trails!
