As a runner who is training for a marathon, these foam rollers kzbin.infoUgkx9XSsjzA4f84VmhBCHlyhec7XILIxennL are really good for sore and tight muscles. This one is a good size (mine is the purple, 36 inches) not too big but big enough to work and roll both my legs at the same time - I took a photo holding the roller next to me just to provide a better representation of its size. I noticed some reviewers who complained that this is, “just a foam noodle”… and yes, that’s exactly what it is. It’s a high density foam roller. It is absolutely NOT the same consistency/strength/durability/ or texture as a ‘pool noodle’ thought and I disagree entirely with those that say so. As a former collegiate athlete and marathon runner, I’m comfortably giving this roller 5 stars. It’s lightweight and durable and does just what I need it to do at a budget-friendly price. Overall, I have no complaints and am happy with it!

Thanks for this instructive video. As a result of using a too small treadmill starting about 2 years ago (purchased to use inside my apartment to avoid Covid exposure), I strained my left glute hamstring tendon. I think the small length of the tread surface forced me to move my legs in too much of an up and down direction instead of something more horizontal. I have benefited from the stretches you demonstrate. I write not only to thank you for your help with my injury, but also to inform you of something I read decades ago in, I believe, Runners' World, viz., that, according to the writer, rocking while stretching should not be done because it tightens rather than loosening tendons. I think it was in this video that you indicated otherwise. This is just a heads-up which you, of course, may take or leave; I'm not saying that the writer is right or wrong. Thanks again.

I’ve replied to a few comments saying the same things and I wanna clarify that I do not recommend bouncing. This video was made for a single client awhile ago who liked using bounces for themselves and their stretching journey. This video was originally not made for the public therefore not targeted at a large audience. I definitely do not recommend bounces for beginners however I do recommend dynamic stretches! Hope this clears some things up :)

You will improve your flexibility by not bouncing. Stay at your end range and hold that position for 30 sec. Bouncing can cause little micro tears or worse in the muscle and then those injuries become scar tissue. Always keep your neck in alignment of your spine, don’t look down and bend your neck.

by far the hardest part of fasting is the boredom. If you've never done a multiday fast, you have no idea the enormous amount of your daily time is spent thinking about, preparing, or eating food. Depending on your lifestyle, it can be really hard to fill all that extra free time. If you want a fast to be easy, start it when you are very busy
