Hey I have a question. I have a rf-5800v-mp and a rf-5800v-pa and I wanted to ask if you know what antenna cable that goes from the radio VHF ANTENNA J5 to the amplifier J4 RF IMPUT. Thank you very much for your time.

Hi there. Sorry I'm not familiar with that family of radios (5800V). But typically any BNC cable will do. Or TNC, again, I'm not familiar with it. It might be TNC (radio side) to BNC (amp side). Sorry can't be more help.

@@w2hx it’s ok. I just thought I’d ask. The cable on the radio is twist lock and the one on the amp is threaded. I’m sure it’s the same as a 5800h style antenna connection.

​@lowsniper1 twistlock is BNC threaded is TNC. Find a cable on ebay with the length you need with those connectors. Good luck

Yes you are correct! Hub is in the rear. Later models had it in front. I have some videos on the ASIP stuff too.
