hi! new to kpop terms heeeere. what are fan chants and what is music core? ty in advance ^ ^

hello! music core is one of the music shows (program) for groups to perform on whenever they debut or come back. It's similar to mcountdown, inkigayo and etc. fans will usually attend the music shows and see the artist perform. so the fanchants are just chants prepared by the company (usually) or fan managers and it usually goes on throughout the whole performance. the intention of it is just to show support to the group and their new songs. hope this helps!

ok so fanchants are pre-determined phrases that fans yell out together (that would be the yellow lyrics in the vid) during the song. it usually consists of repeating the lyrics, members' names and the group's name. they're usually created and decided by the company as for music core, it's one of several music shows in south korea TV. all of them are broadcast weekly, and features artists who promote their new songs. for example, plave's wait for you kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipDKe6Okn6-mpM0 was also performed on Show! MusicCore. each of these shows has a weekly winner/1st place, based on different variables/voting mechanisms. winning these shows are extremely important to artists, which is why we're voting for them to get a 1st place nomination! (word vomit sorry)
