It actually reads "At the start of of the next action phase, defeat a resource you control". I think they were just using it as a reminder since it doesn't have to be that specific resource.@@Adoptionism

At 17ish minutes, why did Justin play Technician and put the other back as a resource? Superlaser technician isn’t a unique, so it doesn’t fall under the “defeat one” unique rule.
