At NovaRock in Austria this year they were the first or second band to play and it was fucking awesome. It was only half an hour but on the fourth day I heard a bunch of other people say that Hanabie for them was one of the best performances they went to.

From the visual with the MV, I love their Harajuku take on traditional Japanese aesthetics. What beauties! Lyrically, the reference to Meyers-Briggs was very cleverly written in. Overall just a really good addition to their take on Otaku and NEET culture. I love the song itself, I love the MV, I love the lyrics. 11/10.

Yeah when I looked up the lyrics and saw the 16 types thing I was loving it even more. The deal seems to be people getting confused trying to define their personality based on stuff online, inaccuracy, over analysis. Aside from making bangers I really enjoy that they also do some social and general critiques, but in a fun non preachy way. Really good combo. Hanabie are one of the few groups where I get excited to know what the lyrics are actually about. z
