lets learn the parts about hanau articulator. its important for balanced occlusion. in this video we will be be discussing about different parts of the articulator. this articulator accepts facebow transfer. it has a condylar guidance, anterior guidance. horizontal condylar guidance is given by the patients protrusive record. and with this we derive the lateral condylar guidance. by the equation L=H/8+12. where L is the progressive bennet angle.
it has a adjustable anterior guidance. antero posterior movement is possible. and also lateral wings are movable. incisal rod present has dual end one is chisel end and other end is round end. round end is used for customised incisal guide. chisel end is used for mechanical guide.
