I think this concept is best described in the second to last scene here, where teruki is fighting the telekinesis guy. Towers the end of the scene where he says “we could both beat the boss and rule the world” he mirrors mobs lesson and says “your just an ordinary man. Even I could defeat you.” Which I think perfectly describes his character and mobs impact as a whole.

God, I love him. Mob is my baby, but Teru is like a bro. He's so cool, self-sufficient, and has a good sense of how and when to use violence efficiently after Mob beat the humility into him. Few series would have let powerful and former antagonists live life as if they're still ordinary people, even if being "ordinary" is an intrinsic belief to the show like it is to Mob ("powers don't make you above 'special'"), it's great!
