I really like to carry a lush massage bar in a tin in my car during the winter when hand creams would normally be frozen solid. Winter is the time when my skin dries out so badly so this is a nice solution.

Would love more facials, with or without tools. And different massages definitely! More where you actually do treatments to others.

Great idea! I'll see what I can do!

Holy mackerel! Just the unwrapping of the bars, alone, was totally triggering. A whole video of just that would be heavenly!

I’m sure it can be done 👍🏻😊

They sure seal those up tightly. 😁 I'm familiar with Lush, but haven't used any because I've heard the scent is quite strong. I've become very scent sensitive over the years. I enjoy a light scent, but that's getting hard to find in lotions, etc. You still do a wonderful hand massage!

It was a tight packet, wasn't it? 😂 I agree about strong fragrance and that's put me off previously. I like an authentic, aromatherapy scent if I have to choose and thankfully this wasn't strong. I wonder if they do fragrance free? I've discovered Dr Organic Vitamin E lotion if you're looking for a very minimal scent in a body moisturiser. It does the job with no overpowering perfumes 😀

Lush really has an extreme range of products, very interesting for me too. As I just saw, there is even an online shop for us Germans, very nice. What I particularly like about the massage sticks is the additional short description of the item names. They killed me with one of them (in the German shop), I had to laugh so hard: the massage bar “Se* Bomb - wuschig meditativ”.😄 Well, “sensual” (in the English shop) is not really what “wuschig” can mean (often also used slightly ironically and is quite the opposite to "meditativ(e)")... 😏🙈🙊🤣 Maybe I'll give Lush a try one day. But I can only use it for myself. And there is no one who could (or would) give me a massage, not even on my hands or arms. I have very hairy arms, even more than your "willing victim"😅 - and hairy hands, someone already called it “monkey-like”. Unfortunately he's right...😔 Anyway, very interesting video, thank you for introducing us to these items. E.g. I personally didn't know about these massage bars before (I knew about shampoo bars, but I've never used them either). 🍀👋🏻

Those translations are funny! I tried the massage bar on myself and it was really easy to use, plus I just saw a comment where they said they keep it in the car for when hands are really cold and need moisture - genius! The great thing about booking a massage is that your therapist won't care about hair as they want to give you a great treatment. You'll have to treat yourself one day 😀

@@homespabeauty The problem with our physiotherapists is that you can't get appointments, not even with a prescription from the doctor. "We are fully booked, maybe appointments will be possible again in a month or two or so. You should better ask at another practice...!". And over there you hear exactly the same words, I recently experienced exactly that myself.😶 And by the way, no one offers hand and arm massages, which obviously doesn't belong in the area of physiotherapy. Here too, all practices are the same. There is a “wellness massage” item in the menu indeed, but essentially just "back and neck" in a session lasting around 20 minutes at most, which gets very hectic immediately after the massage (you have to quickly make room for the next customer ).😕 There is certainly expensive real wellness or spa in some large tourist hotels, but nothing near me. The willingness to pay for a massage is of no use. That's the nice disadvantage of living in the deep provinces...🙄😛 Yes, of course it would be possible to massage myself, but that would only be a purely "mechanical process", not much different than if I were sticking a band-aid on my finger. I'm just not good at things like that. My fingernails also indicate that I apparently have neurodermatitis (for quite a long time though not allways visible) which makes it not easier. At the moment the damaged area is probably mainly concentrated on my scalp, but it is very massive there. A nice visit to the hairdresser is therefore out of the question for the time being. Thanks to the sheep shearing machine🤭 I can at least cut my own hair, I don't have that many anymore anyway.👴🏻 There is a German comedian who said: "As a man gets older, the hair he loses on his head grows back in other places where he hasn't had it yet."🤣... But yes, maybe one day I'll actually be able to treat myself to some wellness.😊🍀

@@PolLight3000 The comedian knows the truth! 😂 That’s irritating that everything is made complicated but I think it’s likely a similar situation everywhere 😫 At least you have ways of managing everything & if you ever win the lottery you’ll find all the solutions! I tell myself this regularly 🤪

@@homespabeauty 🤣 Well, this is what all these self-proclaimed "life coaches" are telling us: Allways keep thnking positive - and one fine day you even will win the lottery!🙃😇 But after all, you know the joke about the guy who is praying constantly to God to finally win the lottery...? I'm like him, maybe I should finally even buy a ticket too...🙄🤪 Wish you all the best, Elaine, and take care! Cheers - Ralf🙇🏻♂️🍀👋🏻
