Dryer 1: Xlerator or Rip-off at The Lost City Golf Nottingham (Unisex). Replaced two of what the disabled has.
Dryer 2: Xinda at The Lost City Golf Nottingham (Disabled and Baby Change).
Dryer 3: Aike (ATC Tiger Eco) at Starbucks Nottingham Old Market Square (Disabled and Baby Change). Requires a code and this replaced an XleratorEco between 2019 and 2022.
Dryer 4: Aike (ATC Cheetah) at Starbucks Nottingham Old Market Square (Unisex 1/2). The Sqm of the 3 sets of stairs (down up then up again) it takes to get here is probably nearly as big as the cafe space itself. The door to the corridor requires a code too. Both unisex toilets used to have some dolphin dryers that I have never seen elsewhere (not either of the two velocity’s or Xinda nozzle thing) but they were replaced between 2019 and now like with the Xlerator.
Dryer 5: KINGWE Jetdry (Bluedry Ecodry) at Starbucks Nottingham Old Market Square (Unisex 2/2). Again replaced some dolphin but interesting how the branding is faded - would’ve been replaced between 2019 and 2022.
Dryer 6: Mitsubishi Jet Towel Slim at M&S Nottingham Albert Street (Disabled). There used to be a M&S homestore over the road from here but it closed permanently during Lockdown 1. The baby room was in use here.
Dryer 7: Mitsubishi Jet Towel Slim at M&S Nottingham Albert Street (Gents).
Dryer 8: AirDri Classic+ MKIIs at McDonald’s Nottingham Exchange Walk (Gents). Disabled and baby change out of order.
Dryer 9: KINGWE Jetdry (Bluedry Ecodry) at Waterstones Nottingham (Gents). Likely replaced what the disabled has, a common practice for Waterstones.
Dryer 10: HOKWANG Ecofast (Dolphin Velocity Eco) at Waterstones Nottingham (Disabled and Baby Change).
Dryer 11: Aike (HandyDryers Crocodillo T2) at Caffé Nero Nottingham Trinity Square (Disabled and Baby Change). Requires a radar key - unisex requires a code and had a big queue - I was in a rush so I couldn’t film for obvious reasons.
Dryer 12: Initial Roller Towel at John Lewis Nottingham (Floor 1 Disabled). This store has disabled and baby room on this floor, ladies and gents on Floor 2 and a full set on the top floor. On this floor the baby room had a queue but it has Leonardo Papertowels I think anyway. All toilets here used to have the roller towel (as filmed by Up The Shires 738). Toilet requires a RADAR key.
Dryer 13: Fastdrys (Lovair Airfury C1s and Airfury C1s) at Victoria Centre Nottingham (Gents). Owned by Intu until their collapse and given a massive refurb in 2014 so that’s probably when these loos were refurbed and some dryers were given new covers. Requires a RADAR key.
Dryer 14: Fastdry (Lovair Airfury C1) at Victoria Centre Nottingham (Disabled 1/2). The baby room is unlockable and located through a babies play area which would be extremely awkward and almost impossible to do, for 2 reasons, when it is busy. Requires a RADAR Key.
Dryer 15: Fastdry (Lovair Airfury C1) at Victoria Centre Nottingham (Disabled 2/2).
Dryer 16: Dyson Airblade V HU02s at John Lewis Nottingham (Floor 2 Gents - No disabled or baby change). These isolated toilets were still hard to do despite being badly signposted - it was rammed on this Sunday that I visited.
Dryer 17: Dyson Airblade V HU02 at John Lewis Nottingham (Floor 3 Disabled and Baby Change). Requires a RADAR key.
Dryer 18: WDPHS Airforce at House Of Fraser Nottingham (Disabled). Very horrible and old, neglected store to be in which surprisingly still has an open café. At least it’s not been scaled back as far as Doncaster!
Dryer 19: Robus HELMs (Hydor) at House Of Fraser Nottingham (Gents). Replaced airforces, presumably WDPHS.
Dryer 20: Kruger Papertowels at House Of Fraser Nottingham (Baby Change). Older than the Airforce is the brand Kruger as it has been renamed twice so this has probably been here since opening.
Dryer 21: AirDri Classic+ MKII (Quartz) at McDonald’s Nottingham Victoria Centre (Disabled and Baby Change). Requires a RADAR key.
Dryer 22: AirDri Classic+ MKII (Quartz) at McDonald’s Nottingham Victoria Centre (Gents).
Dryer 23: Robus HELM at German Doner Kebab Nottingham (Unisex).
Dryer 24: Robus HELM at German Doner Kebab Nottingham (Disabled and Baby Change).
Dryer 25: PHSWH Airforces, Dyson Airblade V AB12s and Dyson Airblade V HU02s at Greyhound Street Public Toilets Nottingham (Gents). Only public loo in the city apparently.
Dryer 26: Anda at Greyhound Street Public Toilets Nottingham (Disabled and Baby Change). Requires a RADAR key.
Dryer 27: Anda at Greyhound Street Public Toilets Nottingham (Changing Places). Requires a RADAR key.
Dryer 28: Out Of Order, Costa in Primark Nottingham (Disabled and Baby Change + Unisex).
Dryer 29: WH SM48 at Smyths Toys Superstores Mansfield (Disabled Unisex and Baby Change).
Dryer 30: Fastdrys (Lovair Airfury C1s) at Four Seasons Centre Mansfield (Gents). These required 20p at the time of filming but the tolls are now frozen open. These sound well!
