Hey not sure you check comments on here often but as someone learn g to engrave and being left handed would it just be the opposite with a flat? As a righty your cutting with the left corner of the graver from top to bottom on the beauty line. As a lefty would I use the right corner and cut from bottom to the top? Or is that not the correct or best approach? Any tips or pointers are appreciated! Thank you in advance

Using gravermax is not my idea of hand engraving. For precious metals especially its unnecessary expense-invest in hand gravers and learning to use them well instead. It is no more time consuming or difficult once you know how

In answer to your previous question (2 whole years ago - my! Lol ) Glardon- Vallorbe are a make of Swiss gravers offering a comprehensive range...a bit of research should guide you best for what you want to do. You will need to buy handles and modify length to suit your hand-it's easy to do...place pointed end down in a bench vice at required point then smack smartly with a hammer to remove excess length...regrind handle end to sharp enough point then back to vice to tap on handle et voila...your own customised hand graver

Hi Caz- I’m learning both currently and I find hand gravers much easier than the air graver but the wrist and hand pain is a huge difference between them. Do you have any recommendations for pain while hand engraving?
