The window jumper is a great idea; I didn't know it existed. I rent so I can't really make modifications to the house. I also have been wondering about some type of non-permanent, possibly movable antenna tower that I could put up for a base station. When they built the house I'm in, they removed all of the trees, so I basically just have a flat grass lawn surrounding the house.

I'm also interested in dealing/addressing the lightning issue; in the summer there are tree and even ground strikes around me on an almost daily basis.

Since lighting starts from the ground up, maybe a lighting rod somewhere would be helpful?
