I was already pregnant when I found out that I had 2 fibroids the size of a tennis ball. My pregnancy grew with no complications and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl she will be 6 years. I can relate with this story. Fibroids made my life a living hell. I had miscarriages, still birth and went through surgeries. But in all I thank God because He never left me alone on this journey. Fibroid are fixable. 23years ago my uterus looked like a alien I had so many fibroids. I had a Uterine Artery Embolization . It was still experimental. I was only the 4th patient that doctor had ever performed it on. One year later scan showed a normal looking uterus with only several small fibroids inside. I had a laparoscopic Myomectomy to remove those. Six months later I was told I could start trying to get pregnant. I got pregnant the first time I tried. I have 2 grown up daughters today . Patience and the right medical intervention makes all the difference.
