My recommendation to all aspiring pianist is to take these exercises and work them for a few weeks/months so they become apart of your natural ability. Earn that compound interest that comes with consistent practice. Consistency will be your best friend throughout this journey. These lesson are packed with challenges and knowledge that will bloom the more you work them. Then I’d recommend moving on to the next one so you can move forward with a great foundation and confidence. May you all continue to be blessed and enjoy the fact that you chose to get better & grow. ✊🏾

Jason, when I first watched this video I thought how neat it would be if I could play it just like you do.. Well, after watching and going through this video I was able to follow you at the end of the video where you started slow and then increased the tempo! Thank you for making the lessons not only clear and easy to understand, but fun as well!! On to the next part now.. Thanks!

@@nathanielschool Haha! I wish I had a "Weird howling Falsetto voice.." like yours. Lol! Btw, I worked on and loved this lesson so much that I took the left hand and now added arpeggios to it! Now I'm playing it and developing my internal clock or rhythm, even hearing the shakers.. Wow! Thanks again my friend!

Fantastic lesson as usual Jason. Do you advocate learning each hand separately and then putting them together or just attacking the exercise with both hands at the same time? Also, I sometimes lose the rhythm when my focus drifts to one hand over the other. Is it best just to not think and feel instead?

Both Sharad! But start with whatever is the PULSE, or something will repeats more. And then bring in the other hand. I will try and do more lessons on Independence. Can you start with this playlist: geni.us/HandIndependence
