Hi, now that im retired i would like to get into hand lettering strictly as a hobby, it looks like it could be very therapeutic, may i ask if that brush is specifically made for india ink and what would be good paper to practice on, thank you for the great video and fantastic music.....Scott.

India ink is really thin but beautiful. A flat brush is what I use for all inks, it sort of acts like a calligraphy pen. Best wishes.

gary gonzalez sorry for late reply, I just got notification on the comment. I'm not real sure, I've had that brush since 2004-ish and everything is worn off the handle. It is a flat, I'm guessing it's about 3/8th of an inch wide though.
