this is a very similar process to what i'm trying to do.. did you topcoat before doing panel lines? the solvent didn't affect the paint?

I never know u can erased using solvent i thought the colour would wipe off

is there a reason you used weathering solvent instead of panel liner? is it safer or is there a benefit to it? sorry im new to this and trying to learn as much as I can

@@joshuawiseman5629Mr. Hobby does not make any paints specifically for panel lining and the Tamiya ones are known to cause cracking if not handled properly, so it’s generally safer to use Mr. Hobby streak and grimes

Glossy topcoat i think by mr hobby, they also have flat topcoat if you dont want thr shiny style

How many coats of primer? And also how many coats of base color? Clean look. Nice.

I only put on one coat of primer and the base color needs to be applied a few more time to be smooth

doesn't the paints goes off when i want to clean the panel lining?

If the paint is acrylic and you use for example tamiya panel liner which is enamel .. it won't mess your paint

How come you didn't need to prime? I saw alot of forums say you should always prime even using acrylic hand painting

The person did prime, used a white primer before painting the main colors
