I'm here because I need this technique to decorate my leather bag prototype with some brass plates... But I'm confused about which tools I need. 😑 Not sure if should try this or the ones for hammering... and... as I'm an hobbist, I could use a simple clamps on wood/brass plate to fix them at the table? 🤔 Thank you. 😊

Can someone rell me the cheapest tools to do this with? Also how to keep the plate held in place while engraving. Im starting out in engraving and would luke some help thank you!!! Beautiful work btw

ds productions I would recommend just buying a couple cheap gravers and handles off Ali express to practice and either copper, aluminium or silver plate. For cheap work holding you can use a large piece of wooden dowel and whack some thermo-loc on one end to set the plate in.
