Pour les scies japonaises oui , pour les scies egoïnes je pense que c'est plus compliqué à cause de l'avoyage

I appreciate your comment! Haven't tried western saws, but there isn't much difference in set. The rougher crosscut saw I use is pitch:1.75mm, kerf: 0.92mm, blade thickness: 0.6mm. The western one I see on the web has pitch: 2.5mm, kerf: 1.2mm, blade thickness: 0.9mm. So, the set on one side of the blade is about 0.15mm for both saws. If there is a difference, it is probably due to the action of pushing or pulling. And for this guide I recommend finer crosscut saws which has finer set of 0.08mm. Just because of better finish and could be easier to the magnet sheet. But still there are flush cut saws that can be used with the guide. And this is the highlight of the jig, also can use as a shooting board at the same time. If you are interested in delicate hand work. Thank you.
