Respected sir, I do not know if this email is still active, but this is my best shot to contact you. Firstly, thanks for the easy to grasp video lectures uploaded on KZbin. I am a Y22 student in IIT Kanpur PHY department, and our endsems ended 2 days ago. However I still have some doubts in the Classical Mechanics portion. In your KZbin playlist of classical mechanics, the video titled "Lecture 17 Expression for centrifugal and coriolis force" Around 4/5 mins in the video , we have considered a rotating frame and derived expressions for that. My question is, how do we derive a general expression of time derivatives, when the origin of the frames do not coincide and the axis of rotation is somewhere arbitrary (not passing through the origin of rotating frame) with proper vector notations used. My doubt arised when I tried to figure out whether in the term (dA/dt)inertial you used in the video, if the vector A is taken with respect to the origin of the rotating frame or the inertial frame, and figured a more general derivation is required.

Sir can you please clarify a doubt from sound The doubt is We know that Intensity ∝ frequency² So on increasing the frequency, intensity also increases. We also know that intensity ∝ amplitude² Therefore on increasing the intensity, amplitude will also increase . Now, loudness of sound depends on the amplitude of wave . (Loudness ∝ amplitude ²) From all these statements we can conclude that frequency is related to loudness But in reality we cannot say that frequency is related to loudness Why is this ???

Sir, why does the spacetime actually "curve" itself around an object with mass when placed on it? I asked a lot of people about this but they just describe the bent-sheet analogy, that when a ball is placed on a sheet, it is going to bend. But doesn't this analogy make it seem as if something pulls objects with mass downwards? I don't get why spacetime has to behave like that. Or is it just the way it works?

Imagine yourself walking on the floor without friction,Your feet would be slipped backwards as you try to walk,right? Now Imagine you are walking on a normal surface which has friction,You will be able to walk normally,Friction opposes the motion of your feet and prevents you from slipping,The force of friction cancels out the force you applied on the ground and you move because of the force applied by earth on you(because of Newton's third law),And this is how it works I hope that this helps.

sir i have the doubt my question is " if there is a space ship travelling with acceleration lets say 'A' in space and one astronaut is outside the space ship and watches the space ship . the ball is thrown inside the space ship with some velocity . does the astronaut see the ball accelerated " if yes then, when the lift is going upward with some acceleration, the person outside the lift don't see the acceleration of ball as of lift.".if not then in same scenario of lift why the person see the ball accelration as "-g".

The conventional direction of current is opposite to flow of electrons, because people knew about electricity way before the discovery of electrons. Later it was found that flow of electrons is the reason for conduction. But equation with negative sign seems not so good and that's why scientists didn't change the sign convection.

As I have studied through google that the velocity of chandrayaan 3 rocket is 10.242 km/sec but I had also studied in class 11th physics lesson of gravitation that for any object to go out of earth's gravitational field its velocity must be equal to or greater than 11.2 km/s.
