This is a story about RCA plugs, and it is my favorite part, but I think that CANARE and MOGAMI products have some good points that are different from other parts. F-9, F-10 for CANARE. If it is MOGAMI, it will be 7551. Cables are price-oriented, Kanare L-4E6S (for stage use) and Mogami 2549 (for recording, home use). I'm not really interested in high-end cables. @@soundmap-Y You have a big knowledge I see practical and in theory. I am more old (56) home user a bit crazy sometimes looking for best for lowest investment. But this is correct. Just made my 2549 with simple but ridgid Rean Neutrik NYS352G Very solid simple plug. I have to say this combination works very well just from first use. I made them according to so called japenese method so shield connected at both sides to cold wire. One day I am going to test all three methods so Japanes, French (shield on input only) and no shield even if exist. Just for fun. Audio world is full of magic woo-doo pumping prices and making people crazy but what to do ? We have to find own balance and this what I am trying to find out right now. Hi. What is the benefit from soldering mass/cold shield twice. For sure is more robust but I do not see another advantage.
