In this video, I'm going to show you how to make this handbag. This is a creation of Louise Beauregard. You can find the file from Design Space. It's a gift box with a card holder inside. You can also replace the words in front of the bag like the one I did - I replaced it with PRADA (for PERSONAL USE ONLY). Cool bag! I would suggest you use tape instead of glue to keep the paper from bubbling.

Great tutorial. My only suggestion is to use different circle parchment for each section you glue. Tacky glue goes a long way. I think thinner layers would not cause as much bending and bubbling. You do make me want to do one. YOU are GREAT at teaching! Thank you so much!!!

Why not use Clear Double Sided Adhesive instead of Wet Glue. I had made a little one for my GrandDaugther almost like yours 3 years ago.

I've ordered a scoring tool but never used one. Does it go next to the cutter, where you would put an infusible ink pen?

Hi, yes if it’s a scoring stylus. If it’s a scoring wheel (Maker), it should be where you put your blades/cutters.

Hi, the file already has scored lines on the pieces that were needed to be scored. So when your machine cuts it, it will automatically score those lines. Hope that helps

Lovely tutorial but I can not get my Prada logo to print and cut for the life of me! I followed your video steps exactly so I don't understand why it is not working. Do you have a suggestions? I am using Cricut printable sticker paper

@@DIYbyCes I have gotten it to print just fine but it's when I go to cut the cricut it's keeps giving me an error message. Paper is not glossy and I tried the tape over the box lines just in case, turned my lights practically off

Have you tried using a black marker and writing on the lines to make them darker? Maybe the sensor couldn’t find the lines because they’re lighter than they’re supposed to be?

What I did was the panel’s fold were facing upwards. But it’s really up to you how you want it. Some people like it on the bottom, and some want it like what I did. Happy crafting!

This is helpful but soo frustrating at the same time...I've been stuck at the label. You sound like your saying select them, however it's select all and when I hit this it selects all images and I can't see how to just select the label so I can't get to next steps. I've had to rewind 1,000 times and this isn't covered. You are going a little fast for newbies otherwise great.

Sorry you got stuck at the label. You have to select them (the label and the oblong shape) and then align them and then click center horizontally. I hope that helps

Click the drop down button under the word Align on the upper left hand of your screen, and then click “center horizontal” and then click flatten on the right lower side of your screen. I hope this answered your question. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

If there are other pieces on the canvas or your screen and if you click the Select All button, it will select everything on the canvas. But if you want to select just the logo and the oblong shape, you will just have to click and drag your mouse (simultaneously) and hover to the logo and the oblong shape. If you’re asking if you want to just use the Select All button to for the two pieces (logo and oblong) you have to hide everything on the canvas by going to the layers panel (panel on the right side of your screen) and by clicking the “eye icon” of each piece. I hope that answers your question 😊

Why do u say to set the last 3 mats on landscape?

Because the last 3 mats I wasn’t using 12x12” cardstock. I was using the 8.5x11” and the pieces were to be cut width wise. Unless you adjust the last 3 mats’ material size to 8.5x11”, you can put the cardstock on portrait.
